Guest host Heidi Harris, filling in for Charlie James, opens the hour by sharing a bizarre story from Las Vegas involving a Canadian tourist who stole a flamingo named Peachi from the Flamingo Hotel, leading to a court trial after he pled not guilty despite clear video evidence. She then pivots to national politics, expressing concern over voter apathy among Republicans and independents affected by high grocery and gas prices. Taking a call from Dan in North Carolina, who urges her to offer positive encouragement rather than sounding pessimistic, Heidi clarifies that while she is realistic about political challenges, she strongly urges conservatives to vote—even if they must hold their noses—because the alternative under Democratic control is far worse.
