Is the proposed Maritime Alliance, involving Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Italy, truly necessary at this stage, or is their involvement simply an attempt to gain global visibility? The perennial justification for tax hikes nationwide is invariably road repair. The standard defense cites an influx of new residents as the cause of increased road deterioration. If this is the case, why does the state of the roads never seem to improve?
