The claim that there are jobs Americans simply won’t do is repeated constantly in the media, but repetition does not make it true. There was once a time when job opportunities were abundant for anyone graduating from high school or college. Today, however, those positions have increasingly been filled by illegal aliens. Addressing this issue effectively requires holding employers accountable for illegal hiring practices and enforcing the deportation of individuals who are not in the country legally. Although the conflict with Iran was expected to have concluded by now, it continues to persist. Europe is bearing the brunt of the impact through soaring oil prices. Meanwhile, Iraq is stepping in as a key player to help meet oil demand, actively boosting its production in an effort to step into Iran's role.
