The defense team for Tyler Robinson is pulling out all the stops to spare him from the death penalty following his charges for the murder of Charlie Kirk. They argue that the offense does not qualify as a capital crime, claiming he fired only a single, targeted shot and that no one else at the event was put in harm's way. This line of argument is completely preposterous.
