We Needle Little Love
Turn off the frightening TV news—it’s shear madness. Put the Netflix binge-watching on hold—this is a pressing matter. You are “Sew” valuable right now: Our community needs your help in making masks for the staff and clients of our local non-profits that don’t have access to them. They need 50,000 cloth masks this week alone. If you’re a member of a sewing group, an organization that loves to help those in need, or if you’re just an individual with time and a talent for sewing masks—we need you.
Click HERE for all the details. Sewing isn’t as hard as it seams! Once you’ve made a pile, you can donate them to your local Goodwill collection site. The United Way will distribute the masks to the non-profits around Monroe County.
We’re going old spool with this appeal: Fire up the sewing machine or grab some needle and thread. Even if you can’t do it yourself—but know someone who can---please pass this message along to them by forwarding this email or posting on social media. #MonroeMaskMakers
