Police Warn Nudists on Czech Beach to Cover Up…Their Mouths

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, nude sunbathers in the Czech Republic are scandalously exposing... their mouths. The New York Post reports that while people still allowed to enjoy some of the country's beaches in the buff these days, they must wear masks to reduce COVID-19 spread and cannot congregate in groups of more than two people. Roughly 75 nudists were recently reprimanded by police in the European nation for going out in the buff--but without a face mask. “Unfortunately, the sunbathing citizens were in one place in larger numbers and some did not even have a mask,” police spokeswoman Markéta Janovská told local media in the spa town of Lázně Bohdaneč. “Citizens can be without clothes in places designated for this purpose, but they must have their mouths covered and must observe the numbers in which they can go into nature." Reuters notes that the Czech Republic was one of the first European countries to declare a state of emergency in March and has since started to ease its coronavirus lockdown rules.
