The new traditional wedding gift for your 67th anniversary? Long-distance love! This past Saturday, a 90-year-old Connecticut man who wasn't allowed inside his wife's nursing home because of the coronavirus still managed to celebrate their special day by holding up a huge sign outside the facility. "I’ve loved you 67 years and still do," Bob Shellard's poster read. "Happy anniversary." His wife Nancy reportedly blew kisses from her window, while a nurse relayed messages between the two.
Today is Bob Shellard’s 67th anniversary with his wife, Nancy. Due to coronavirus precautions, Nancy’s nursing home is not allowing visitors inside right now...so Bob paid a visit from outside Nancy’s window! @NBCConnecticut pic.twitter.com/qBB4vOAzhp
