A few more good news stories are making the rounds...
1. Here's a great story from one of our own: A radio host in Florida named Kevin McKay got a bunch of people to adopt pets from an animal shelter by sleeping in one of their kennels overnight. He said he'd do it if more than 50 pets went home with people during an event called "Empty the Shelter." And 203 got adopted. So he followed through and spent the night.
2. A couple in Iowa celebrated their 50th anniversary and recreated all their wedding photos from their ceremony in 1971.
3. An 11-year-old kid who can't swim got stuck out on a small slab of ice 100 feet from shore on a river in Ukraine. But he's okay after a fisherman saw him . . . cast his line out . . . and reeled him in. And the whole thing is on video.
4. Last week, a racist jerk in San Francisco attacked a 75-year-old Asian woman on the street. And she put HIM in the hospital. Now there's an update. Her grandson started a GoFundMe page to help cover her medical bills, and people have now donated almost a MILLION DOLLARS. But she just announced she's not keeping the money. She's giving it all to charity to help fight racism.
