"Hey guys! Not only is this an incredibly savage move by my husband, I've literally never heard of anyone doing this. Quick backstory, we have an in-law suite in our house and his dad is getting older, so instead of having him live in a crappy apartment or a nursing home I suggested that we invite him to live with us. My husband was fine with the idea, however he said he wanted to charge him rent. Not a lot, just a few hundred dollars. When I asked him why on earth he'd want to charge his father, because it's not about needing the money, he said as payback for when his dad made him pay rent when he was younger. He said it in a kind of kidding way, but he's also dead serious about it. Can you believe this savagery!?"
