"Alright, my husband is pretty upset with me right now but I'm hoping you guys will have my back and tell me what I did was sensible. Both of us love Christmas time, but he tends to have a harder time moving on from it than I do. I feel like every year we get into the same debate of when to take down the Christmas tree. Last year it wasn't until February because he kept protesting. I decided this year I wasn't going to let it go that long. So when the discussion came up and I pushed to take it down the first week of 2022 he predictably disagreed. It was a whole thing and to cut a long story short I agreed I'd leave it up longer just to shut him up. Call me deceitful, but my intention the whole time was to take it down behind his back and that's exactly what I did. On Tuesday while he was off at work I spent the entire day taking down the Christmas tree and all of our Christmas decorations. I had no choice, it had to be done! Needless to say he was very upset when he came home from work and saw that everything was gone. He's been giving me the silent treatment ever since. Was I really that savage or was it the sensible thing to do!?"
