Hey Guys - I have been going round and round with my son these past couple of weeks and he is making me feel like such a savage and a bad mom at that. He is going into his freshman in high school and I really want him to continue playing football because he has been playing it for couple years now. Now his coach straight up told him and a few others that they were not first string and it was unclear as to how much playing time they would actually get. Needless to say that discouraged my son and is making him not want to continue playing the sport. I told him he doesn't have a choice and that playing football/being on the team is very important and that he has to. I am having mom guilt and I would love to know what you and your listeners think.
