Here's a message we received from a listener who is furious at her neighbor...
"HEY GUYS!
Savage or sensible - When you live in a 4 condo building and the garbage responsibility is shared.
4 garbage cans, 1 recycle can- residents “share” the responsibility of putting cans out and bringing cans in. Per HOA agreement.
I have lived here for over a year and the lady next door has never done it once. ( the other residents I suppose have a hand full of time but are elderly so...) this lady is mid 40’s with a 18 yr old son...(who should be doing it EVERY WEEK IF YOU ASK ME)
She gets home before me everyday and I watch her on the ring camera literally walk right freaking by the empty cans. ( has even moved one to get by once, but not out them back away)
She also produces the most amount of garbage with her gross cat litter and hello fresh boxes So-
Is it savage to leave a letter taped on all the cans saying something along the lines of “ for residents who help take out trash only” or is it more appropriate for me to just keep a can separate from the group and put my trash and only my trash out and say screw the rest of you . Help. Ready to ring the door bell and rage 🙃"
What do you think? Would it be savage or sensible of her to write the letter and tape it to the cans? Vote in today's poll!
