"SAVAGERY ALERT! I just started carpooling to work with one of my co-workers and have to call them out for this. They're the one who drives and so far, every day this week, they've pulled the same move. If we pull up to a red light, they come to a stop and then just blow through it like it's a stop sign. The first time they did it I just thought they were confused, but after it happened multiple times, I asked what they were doing. Their response was, "oh, it's early and there's no one around...so stop lights are optional." It's been awhile since I've taken driver's ed, but I don't think that's the rule. For a little added context, we work in the city, so it's not like we're out in the middle of the country and there's no one for miles. I NEED to know if your listeners think this behavior is savage or senisble."
