Teigen announced her and hubby John Legend’s adorable scruffy wuffy new family member in early January. The pup, a standard poodle, was adopted with the help of Ellen DeGeneres and the Wagmore Pet Hotel & Spa.

The matron mogul of the Kardashian-Jenner clan adopted a dog from the same rescue as that Teigen did in January as well. The Wagmore did come under fire from fans who criticized the organization for prioritizing the most adoptable pets for celebrities.

The GRAMMY Award-winning singer introduced her new “lil pound puppy,” a rescue named Pepper, on her Instagram Story in January.

The former “Fashion Police” co-host welcomed her newest pup in early February. “This is the newest member of my family,” she captioned the Instagram intro. “My brothers [sic] dog ruby had puppies. She is a Pomeranian husky mixed with Australian Shepard. What should I name her?”

The 23-year-old “Riverdale” actress shared an Instagram pic of her “new baby” Milo, a 1-year-old miniature Schnauzer mix that she she rescued from the Furever Freed Dog Rescue in British Columbia, Canada.

The Lopez family grew by one pup this year. The "Saved by the Bell" star introduced the world to his fantastically named French bulldog Oscar De La Hoya Lopez in this video with his wife, kids, and their 10-year-old French bulldog Julio Cesar Chavez Lopez.
