Nostalgia has taken over Hollywood in recent years, and now it appears it will go after grocery stores next. Food company Unilever announced recently that a beloved product from the 80’s and 90’s will be making its long awaited return. For the first time in 30 years Viennetta ice cream cakes will be available.

Good Humor’s Viennetta ice cream cakes became an iconic dessert in the 80’s and 90’s, but has been forgotten by many since going away 30 years ago. Now, after “fans have clamored for Viennetta’s return for almost 30 years,” according to Unilever, the product will be rereleased and made available immediately.

According to the announcement, 24 other frozen treats from Breyers, Klondike, Magnum, Popsicle and Talenti will hit the market as well. The iconic Vanilla Viennetta is made of a "wavy frozen vanilla base between crispy decadent chocolate layers" formed into the shape of a cake. Now fans can get a blast from the past in their stomachs.
