It’s grandma time for Kathie Lee Gifford.
The former “Today” show co-host took to Instagram to announce, via a pretty video, that her son, Cody Gifford, 31, and wife, Erika Brown, are expecting their first child.

The heartwarming clip shows lovely, gauzy black & white and color clips from the couple’s wedding that suddenly cuts to a shot of a positive pregnancy test. A little sign then announces “Baby Gifford," while Haley Reinhart's dreamy version of "I Can't Help Falling In Love" lilts in the background.
“I am over a blue or pink moon!!!” explained the proud grandma-to-be in the caption. “I don’t care which. So so happy for you both, @mrsamerikagifford, and for our family. Praise our Living and Loving God!”
"We all love you so much, GLAMMA,” mom-to-be Brown responded in the comments.
Brown also shared the baby news on her own Instagram, captioning the clip with “Gifford… Party of 3 So sooo grateful to God for this greatest blessing.”
Brown added that, as far as a gender reveal, they will instead announce that "the old fashioned way- when our lil 'squish' arrives."
As People reminds, Cody and Erika first began dating in 2013, and eventually tied the knot in September 2020, in a fairly intimate gathering. Three months ago, the couple celebrated their one-year anniversary with another wedding.
Kathie Lee’s daughter, Cassidy, 28, and her husband, Ben Wierda, got married in June, 2020, and they too threw another wedding for their one-year plus anniversary in November.
While it’s clear the Gifford kids like the celebrating part, all four events were small, mostly family affairs.
Of her children's simple, non-Hollywood big bash weddings, Kathie Lee, 68, simply said to People last year, "Some people are postponing until they can have the big celebration, but my kids just wanted to be married."
Twice, apparently, for good measure.
