Sharing a few clips from the Foo Fighters' rehearsals for their Preparing Music For Concerts live stream on Instagram -- Josh's official introduction to the legion of Foo fans -- Freese says in the caption, "A year ago today this aired and I got to stop keeping quiet about what had been referred to as "the worst kept secret in the music business" at the time (though I thought we did a pretty good job on our end.)"
"I love the way it came out and am proud of it," he adds. "I joked that all we really needed was 'All My Life' and then move on (because it's so goddamn good.)"
Turning his attention to the memory of Hawkins, who tragically passed on March 22, 2023, Freese continues, "I continue to miss Taylor as does the band, his family, friends and the rest of the world. We also continue to try and make the most of the situation by moving forward and doing what we love doing....playing music, honoring Taylor and staying positive."
The Foos will be back on the road in the states this summer beginning July 17 at NYC's Citi Field and will wrap their scheduled 2024 U.S. run on August 18 in Seattle, WA. Grab your tickets HERE.
