After introducing her daughter to her fans, Emmy Rossum has an essential message about vaccines.

The former “Shameless” star posted the first picture of her daughter with her husband, Sam Esmail. While sharing a plea about vaccinations, the heartwarming photo shows Rossum kissing her baby as her daughter looks away from the camera.
“When I was pregnant I got vaccinated,” the actress wrote alongside her post. “Not only did we have a healthy, beautiful baby girl but we also just learned our daughter now has antibodies.”
“In short, stop being an irresponsible idiot and get the vaccine,” Rossum ended her caption, which her husband also shared on Twitter.
Last May, the mother-of-one announced the birth of her daughter in an Instagram post.
Rossum shared the exciting news while posting two black-and-white maternity snaps. One photo showed the actress showcasing her baby bump, while the other one showed Esmail cradling her belly.
“5.24.21,” the new mom captioned the post. “On a sunny Monday morning, at 8:13AM, we welcomed our daughter into the world.”
Rossum also posted a picture of what appears to be her newborn’s footprint.
