Last week when news broke of Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s supposed split and end of engagement, the two responded with a joint comment, saying they were working together to “figure things out.” And by the looks of it, that’s exactly what they’re doing.

According to intel and photographs gathered by Page Six, Jen and her fiancé for now, A-Rod, were seen kissing and hanging out in the Dominican Republic.
J.Lo was looking all kinds of happy and relaxed, sporting a white robe, cuddled up, gathered closely around a tablet with her baseball beau for some breakfast and a bit of streaming.
While some might say distance makes the heart grow fonder, A-Rod wasn’t about to take any chances, joining his lady on the Caribbean island, where J.Lo is shooting the film Shotgun Wedding. And good thing he did, because as reported by Page Six, after having a heart-to-heart talk, the superstar couple made the decision to make their four-year relationship work and get back together.
As a source told the outlet, Jen and Alex “had a great couple days in the DR,” adding that, “they continue to work through things. That’s the status quo right now. They’re together.” Additionally noting that while they seem to still be a couple, it’s still unclear if the relationship will last.
Before A-Rod made the decision to join Lopez on location for her film she had reportedly “been very upset on the set.” And apparently “for the last two weeks they have not been together and the last few days they were not good… They’ve been having some crazy issues.” Who know just how many issues exactly, but no doubt at least one of them was the very publicized linking between Rodriguez and Southern Charm reality star Madison LeCroy.
With that said, regardless of the what or how many issues they’ve encountered or they're currently working through, for the time being these two seem to have picked up right where they left off while they "figure things out," and we’re here for it and rooting for them. #TeamJ-Rod
