After having to postpone wedding plans due to the pandemic, cheating rumours, and couple’s therapy Miami sources are reporting that the couple will no longer make it to the altar.

Just last month, Lopez had posted stunning photos of the couple embracing in the Dominican Republic, while she was on location for her upcoming film, Shotgun Wedding. Plus, earlier this week reports of the couple’s twice-delayed wedding were presuming that the wedding was back on track.

While Lopez is still in the Dominican Republic on set for her film, A-Rod is back in Miami gearing up for baseball season.

On Friday, March 12, the athlete posted a photo of himself on Instagram alone on a yacht in Miami. As Rodriguez stares down at this phone, he captioned the image, “Don’t mind me, just taking a sail-fie… What are your plans for the weekend?”

On her Instagram, JLo posted series of old TV appearances where she is laughing in each one of them. She cryptically writes, “Find a good reason to laugh today… Sending everyone love.”

In 2019 the two superstars announced their engagement after having dated for more than two years. However, just as the duo was planning their big day, they ran into the issues caused by the pandemic. In a recent interview, Lopez revealed, “We had to cancel the wedding … because of COVID, because of the quarantine. And we actually did it twice, which people don’t know.”

While it’s hard to tell where issues began to arise, this announcement comes only a few weeks after cheating rumors about A-Rod began to surface. Stories of Rodriguez FaceTiming with Southern Charm star, Madison LeCroy began bubbling over.

While sources for A-Rod shut down the rumors, Lopez gracefully moved away from any allegations during her cover interview with Allure in February. She told the magazine that during the pandemic, the extra time has allowed for moments dedicated to strengthening their relationship, explaining that she and A-Rod had been in couple’s therapy months before any rumors surfaced.

She shared, “It has been actually really good. We got to work on ourselves. We did therapy. I think it was really helpful for us in our relationship.”

“I started trying to do things together. We would play baseball outside or paint together. We never get to do stuff like that. I was trying to take advantage of the time.”

Unfortunately, it seems like the two stars will be going their separate ways now, despite trying to make it work.
