During these past months quarantining and spending time at home, JLo says that the couple has been able to dedicate so much time to their relationship. She told Allure, that the extra time has allowed for moments dedicated to strengthening their relationship, explaining that she and A-Rod had been in couple’s therapy months before any rumors surfaced.
The singer adds, “It has been actually really good. We got to work on ourselves. We did therapy. I think it was really helpful for us in our relationship.”
As a family, JLo and A-Rod have been able to commit to more quality time with their children. The star who has presented herself as generally unfazed by these rumors says, “I started trying to do things together. We would play baseball outside or paint together. We never get to do stuff like that. I was trying to take advantage of the time.”
While JLo shared that she missed her fast-paced, creative lifestyle at times she explains that Alex loves the downtime. “I miss being creative and running on 150,” says Lopez. “But Alex, of all people, was like ‘I love it. I love being at home. I love doing my Zooms. I love knowing the kids are there, and you’re there all the time.'”

JLo and A-Rod were supposed to have a vastly different 2020. The duo was set to get married last year but had to postpone exchanging nuptials twice. In a previous interview with Access, JLo said that as of now the couple is waiting it out and that there’s “no rush.”
“I feel like it's not a huge priority to go and have a big wedding right now. That’s not what life is about. Life right now is about just enjoying each other and spending time, and really being grateful for all the things that we have,” shares Jennifer.
