Atari is working on opening eight themed hotel in the U.S.
According to The Verge, Atari has partnered with developer True North Studio and GSD Group to build eight hotels in the following cities: Phoenix, Arizona; Austin, Texas; Chicago, Illinois; Denver, Colorado; Las Vegas, Nevada; San Francisco, California; San Jose, California; and Seattle, Washington.
Will there be Super Pong in every room? Who knows! However, it has been reported that the hotels will feature virtual reality hubs and places for e-sports competitions to take place. Each hotel will have a theme based on a specific Atari game.
The hotels will also offer typical amenities like a gym, restaurant/bar, conference rooms and possibly a movie theater!
This is all convenient timing since Universal Studios has announced plans to build a Super Nintendo World in Orlando.
