"Evidently, humans and pigs are close enough that with some small genetic alterations we can use their organs?! People who hate GMO's just keep on scrolling," Gregr warns. "This is a huge benefit to the long wait-lists of sick people trying to get off of dialysis and back to healthy, and if we expand it to other organs, that time spent killing your insides -- aka your 20s -- could be less terrifying."
