This predicament picked up a lot of buzz.

A resident in New Mexico encountered a scary situation while at the grocery store when a swarm of 15,000 bees took over his vehicle's back seat.

Over the weekend, the shopper left their car windows down while heading into the store to grab groceries. However, when they returned and began to drive away, they realized thousands of bees were inside the car.

Jesse Johnson, an off-duty firefighter and a man who practices beekeeping, was called to help the man in the supermarket parking lot, according to Good Morning America.

The Las Cruces Fire Department posted pictures of the incident, showing the swarm of bees inside the vehicle. Johnson, the hero, looked calm as he collected them.

Johnson wasn't working at the department that day, but his team called him in for his help since he works as a beekeeper in his spare time. The off-duty firefighter arrived at Albertsons grocery store wearing a complete safety outfit with a hive kit and lemongrass oil.

The whole ordeal took two hours for Johnson to get all the bees from the car.

A security guard from the store was the only person that was stung.
