After releasing the lead single, “Lost In Space” last month, the group is now treating fans to another new song from the project titled, “Take Me Back,” available now.

“This is a song about returning to innocence and feeling joy again,” they shared in a post on social media about the tune. “Take Me Back,” marks the second release from the forthcoming album which the guys revealed last month.

“The record started as a case study of the late Seventies crossover between disco, funk, gospel, jazz, and all those sounds,” Mark Foster shared upon the revealing of “Lost in Space” and Paradise State of Mind album last month.  “It was such a beautiful moment in time, when these different styles of music were cross-referencing each other — artists like Nile Rogers and Chic, The Tom Tom Club, and Giorgio Moroder.”

The singles and forthcoming new project mark the duo’s first trace of new music in more than three years. For more information on the album, visit their website at www.fosterthepeople.com.
