Mark Hoppus shares post-chemotherapy photo as fans help keep spirits up

Since revealing his cancer diagnosis in June, the Blink-182 singer and bassist, Mark Hoppus has shared his first photo.

The singer, who has been treated with chemotherapy for several months took to social media on July 4 in order to wish fans a happy Fourth of July. In the image, the rocker shared a smiling photo of himself with a bald head and wearing black sunglasses.

He Tweeted, “The Cancer Haver wishes you all a very happy Fourth of July weekend.”

In June, Hoppus shared his cancer diagnosis on social media and how he is continuing to remain “hopeful and positive” for a cancer-free future.

The Blink-182 member wrote, “For the past three months I've been undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. I have cancer.”

“It sucks and I'm scared, and at the same time I'm blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this. I still have months of treatment ahead of me but I'm trying to remain hopeful and positive. Can't wait to be cancer free and see you all at a concert in the near future. Love to you all."
