It seems the cat is out of the bag regarding an upcoming Nine Inch Nails tour, with a series of leaks forcing the band to preemptively confirm plans amid a delay due to the Los Angeles fires.

Nine Inch Nails have confirmed via social media their plans to hit the road on a 2025 world tour, although an official announcement has been delayed because of the Los Angeles fires that have been raging since last week.

“Since some dates and information about our world tour have leaked we are confirming that yes we will be touring and will provide more details soon,” the band revealed on their social channels on Monday, January 13. “We are all watching the devastation that is unfolding in California and have paused our announcement while people try to deal with all that is happening.”

The leaked tour information mentioned in their post apparently outed the tour being called the Peel It Back World Tour, with three dates already scheduled in August and September -- August 23 in Toronto; August 31 in frontman Trent Reznor’s hometown of Cleveland; and September 10 in Tampa, FL.

Nine Inch Nails dropped hits of new music on their social accounts last summer with news of a new Tron film score featuring the caption, "You’re going to get what you deserve," a nod to their 1989 Pretty Hate Machine single "Head Like A Hole," and the date 10.10.25. Disney officially revealed that NIN would be tackling the score for Tron: Ares, the company’s third film in the futuristic sci-fiction series set for release in October.
