With many restaurants currently not serving customers, the majority have turned to delivery and takeout in order to continue business. Still, some restaurants not known as a delivery or takeout option have been struggling to gain traction on food delivery apps. Recently, it was revealed that children’s eatery chain, Chuck E. Cheese, was using a fake name to sell food on Grubhub, and now it has been revealed that popular chain Applebee’s, is doing the same.

Many were shocked last month when it was revealed that Chuck E. Cheese was using the name “Pasqually Pizza and Wings” on delivery apps such as Grubhub. This was realized when a delivery driver went to pick up a Pasqually Pizza and Wings order, only to end up at a Chuck E. Cheese. While the company tried to explain it as a launched eatery for third party delivery apps, most didn’t believe the story.

Now, it appears another popular chain has been doing the same thing, as some noticed Applebee’s wings being sold as “Neighborhood Wings”. While the restaurant image does appear to say “Neighborhood Wings by Applebee's" the delivery app does not include the name of the popular chain. It seems plenty of restaurants are getting creative during coronavirus.
