With the NFL draft taking place virtually this week, there are many aspects of the live event fans will miss. One of these is fans getting the chance to boo league commissioner Roger Goodell before he announces every pick. Luckily, Bud Light wants to make sure Goodell still hears fan’s boos, asking people to send them video of them booing for Thursday’s draft.

Booing the commissioner has become a time honored tradition for NFL fans, but due to the coronavirus, the live draft event was cancelled, and instead will be broadcast virtually. For fans still hoping to boo Goodell, Bud Light came up with a way to make sure the boos are still present, and doing so for a good cause.

“The NFL Draft will be without an important tradition. And we just can't let that stand. Record your boos then post & tag @budlight and #BooTheCommish. We’ll deliver the boos to the Draft, and for each #BootheCommish thru April 25, we’ll donate $1 to NFL Draft-a-Thon up to $500K,” Bud Light tweeted. All fans have to do is make a video of themselves booing, and tag Bud Light. While nothing can replace live boo’s Bud Light wants to make sure fans are just as involved as ever.
