If there is one positive to many movie and television productions currently being put on hold, it’s that it’s given time to many stars to reunite with former cast mates. Thanks to improved media technology, many of these reunions have been shared with fans. Now, yet another classic movie cast is getting together for a surprise reunion.
It was announced this week that the cast of ‘Almost Famous’ would be getting together to discuss the classic film in honor of its 20th anniversary. Joining in on the discussion will be cast members Kate Hudson, Billy Crudup, Frances McDormand, Jason Lee, Patrick Fugit, Zooey Deschanel, Jimmy Fallon and Peter Frampton. The film’s composer, Nancy Wilson and director Cameron Crowe will also be a part of the reunion.
In a teaser for the ‘Almost Famous’ reunion, Crowe says “It’s a first movie that I don’t think I was able to tell, and also didn’t have the money to tell it when I was first starting out.” The Rolling Stones writer turned director ended up making a classic that fans are still celebrating today. Now on its 20th anniversary, the gang is finally getting back together.
