With concerts currently on hiatus due to the coronavirus, many fans are wondering when they can get back to seeing their favorites musicians live. While some just want to get back to going to events, some are wondering what the future of concerts may look like once quarantine is over. For those that fear going back to crowded venues, a concert design studio came up with some post-pandemic wardrobe to keep everyone safe.
the Micrashell, the spacesuit looking outfit that seems perfect for someone at a Daft Punk concert, was designed by Los Angeles based studio Production Club. It’s designed to keep concert goers safe from viruses, using a ventilation system, while looking cool and fun to wear. “Through education, something like [the suit> that may be very weird can be learned and accepted," said head of inventions for Production Club, Miguel Risueño.
Production Club went through 15 versions of the suit before settling on the final product. While some seemed to not believe they would ever wear a suit like that to a concert, others are wondering when they can get one of their own. If this does take off, converts are about to start looking very futuristic.
