David Blaine is known by many worldwide not only for his skills as a magician, but his death defying stunts he’s performed over the years. The world-renowned magician and endurance artist has remained out of the spotlight over the last few years, but is now ready to make a comeback over a decade in the making. Blaine will attempt to fly from New Jersey to New York while holding onto balloons.
The upcoming act, named ‘Ascension,' will see Blaine traveling in the air using a cluster of helium-filled balloons. “'This stunt has been 10 years in the making. Let's turn worry into wonder and take magic to new heights,” said Blaine in a recent tweet announcing the stunt. The live event will air on Blaine’s YouTube channel August 31st.
David Blaine will take the route of flying over the Hudson River in order to travel between the two states. Many fans are excited for Blaine’s comeback attempt, including actor Sylvester Stallone who said, “I must admit I'm getting jaded; it's hard for me to get impressed, but when this guy [Blaine> shows up -- time stands still.” Soon David Blaine will be back to amazing the world.
