With plenty of people struggling in these times, it’s always good to see people going above and beyond to give back. A great example of this happened recently in Dallas’ Trinity Groves neighborhood, when a customer paying it forward led to a chain of as many as 50 customers doing the same. The Pay it forward chain occurred at Dulcet Cafe & Bakery as a protest was occurring nearby.

The chain began when a customer named Bryan gave $100 for customers coming from the nearby protest in Dallas. “I don't think he realized that he was going to start this chain where everyone for, like, the next seven hours would be getting something free," said Grey Sharpe, an employee at Dulcet Cafe & Bakery. According to Sharpe as many as 50 customers followed Bryan chipping in $5, $10, $20 and more to keep it going.

"We've been focusing on, maybe a little bit, on how horrible everything has been, and it's nice to remember that, yes, for every horrible person there's a lot of good. When everyone does things like that, you do move mountains" Sharpe added about the uplifting incident. As troubling times continue, it’s always nice to see people helping those around them.
