Almost everyone has a go to excuse they say to the police when trying to get out of a ticket. For some it works every time, while others are yet to talk their way out of trouble. For one man in Florida, he may want to try and come up with a new line, as he was arrested after telling police a gun in his car belonged to John Wick.
Florida responded to a domestic violence call recently, where the woman claimed she was threatened by the man with a gun, and that he possibly hid the weapon in his vehicle. After the police searched his car and found a gun and bulletproof vest, the man tried to defer ownership of the gun onto someone else. According to the police report, he claimed he had previously sold the car “to his cousin John Wick.”
Obviously, the police didn’t believe the man was related to the fictional character played by Keanu Reeves. He later admitted to lying, and was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and domestic battery. Lucky for Keanu Reeves, police won’t be knocking at his door about this case.
