The Kardashian/Jenner family recently celebrated yet another financial milestone, when earlier this year Forbes listed Kim Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, as a billionaire. While West apparently spent years trying to get Forbes to recognize him as a billionaire, once they did they decided to remove the status from another member of the family.
This week, Forbes published a report claiming Kylie Jenner, who has held the title of the “youngest ever self-made billionaire” for the last few years, was not actually a billionaire. According to Forbes, the reality star and makeup mogul faked tax returns and told a “web of lies” to boost her net worth. Lawyers for Jenner deny these claims.
Now, it is being reported that this dip in worth could be due to a massive spending spree Kylie Jenner has last year. “She’s likely spent over $130 million in the past year,” according to a source. While Forbes believes Jenner isn’t worth over a billion, they do now list her net worth at over $900 million. It seems Jenner can keep spending if she really wants.
