Everyone has a favorite holiday, but for most people their top choice is a toss-up between Halloween and Christmas. Where one is full of costumes and debauchery, the other is wholesome and includes gifts. The one thing the two holidays have in common is the festivities take over homes, including the decorations. Now, with Halloween right around the corner, a new decoration trend has seemingly combined the two holidays.
Halloween may still be more than a month away, but with many summer activities cancelled this year, people are getting a jumpstart on their fall holiday planning. One new trend for this year’s Halloween that is already being seen is people putting up “Halloween Trees” as decorations in their homes. Much like Christmas trees, the Halloween trees are festively decorated for the holiday, although this version has a much more eerie look.
While this trend may seem new to some, apparently “Halloween Trees” have become increasingly popular in the last few years. As one social media commenter said, “It’s officially spooky season.” It may still be August, but with this level of planning Halloween 2020 should be pretty special.
