Often times at hotels, guests are forced to rely on the mini bar in their room in order to get a convenient alcoholic beverage. However, at a new hotel being built in Los Angeles guests will have a hard time avoiding a drunken good time, esp3ecially with the whiskey fountain right in the lobby. Plans for the new hotel have gone viral, as many are comparing it to an alcohol version of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory.
The Whisky Hotel in Los Angeles is currently under construction with plans to open in Hollywood by 2022. It will include 134 rooms across seven stories, but the real highlight of the plans is all the alcohol amenities they plan to offer. These include a complimentary serving of whiskey as guests arrive, the whiskey fountain in the lobby, mini bars in each room and a rooftop bar and restaurant.
Restaurateur Adolfo Suaya, who is behind a number of bars and restaurants in Los Angeles, is developing the new hotel. “The Whisky Hotel aims to carve a niche in the growing whiskey tourism industry and plans to do so by providing a unique experience for connoisseurs and amateurs alike,” said a spokesperson for Suaya. For whiskey drinkers, this hotel truly is a dream come true.
