Throughout the years, Hollywood has produced a number of heroic characters fans have become obsessed with. Whether they have super powers, or are just the person audiences can’t help but root for, movie heroes have become a huge part of pop culture. While the internet often debates who the greatest movie hero of all time is, Empire Magazine recently held a vote to settle the debate.
According to the recent poll, the greatest movie hero of all time is Indiana Jones. The man portrayed by Harrison Ford may be afraid of snakes, but when a hero is needed; the fans feel he, over any other character, is who to turn to. Indiana Jones topped the list that includes; The Terminator’s Sarah Connor, Back To The Future’s Marty McFly, The Hunger Games’ Katniss Everdeen, Beverly Hills Cop’s Axel Foley and many more.
The vote was held as part of Empire Magazine’s upcoming heroes issue. The issue will include the complete list, along with interviews with iconic names from these movies such as Sigourney Weaver, Keanu Reeves, Michael J. Fox, Carrie-Anne Moss, Sean Astin, and Bruce Campbell. While some will still debate, this vote was clear; Indiana Jones is the greatest movie hero.
