Keanu Reeves has been extremely busy over the last few years, and it appears his Hollywood resurgence will continue. It has been confirmed that Reeves will star in a fifth installment of the 'John Wick' franchise, and the film will be shot back-to-back with 'John Wick 4.' Production for both films is expected to begin in early 2021.
The latest installments in the 'John Wick' franchise were confirmed by Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer this week. According to Feltheimer, production on both films will begin when "Keanu becomes available early next year." It was also announced that 'John Wick 4' is expected to hit theaters Memorial Day weekend 2022.
The fourth film in the series was expected to be released in 2021, but COVID-19 delayed the production of the film. Now, both films will be shot back-to-back, meaning the fifth film will likely be released earlier than many fans expected. It appears Keanu Reeves isn't going away anytime soon.
