When it comes to stoner movies, the ‘Bill and Ted’ franchise is often mentioned alongside many other classic films. However, with the reboot set to come out this week, star Keanu Reeves may have just taken the series out of the category forever. According to Reeves, Bill and Ted are not stoners, but instead “just have a nice outlook on life.”
Recently, while promoting the upcoming ‘Bill and Ted Face The Music,’ Keanu Reeves made a comment about the characters that may change how audiences perceive them moving forward. ““I’d like to get one thing straight, Bill and Ted are not stoners, let’s get that clear,” Reeves said of the metal head slacker duo. Of course, many fans didn’t believe, or didn’t want to believe, Reeves tongue in cheek description.
The star of the film went on to reveal a little bit more information about the film, saying “in the course of the film they’re given this herculean task of saving the universe and time as we know it,” before stopping himself in fears of giving too much away. With its release only a day away, ‘Bill and Ted’ fans will get finally get to see what the du has been up to.
