Marcus Mumford shocked fans last month when he unexpectedly released a new collaboration the Major Lazor last month. It was the Mumford & Sons frontman’s first solo credit as a featured artist, combining with the trio of producers. Now Mumford has gone release a new acoustic version of the song as well.
The new version of ‘Lay Your Head On Me’ comes with a video of the singer performing, filmed at London’s Eastcote Studios. Just like the original version, the acoustic track comes as a surprise to fans. The original version came after Marcus Mumford formed a friendship with Major Lazor’s Diplo.
With many people stuck at home, the new version of the track is a welcomed surprise for many fans. Hopefully, Mumford is still working on new music while quarantined, and more surprises are on the way.
