When it comes to men’s private parts; just the thought of something in that area being negatively affected sends a shock of discomfort through most men. While the coronavirus has been around for months, now a new symptom of the virus has been discovered and it won’t make men too happy. According to reports, COVID-19 could lead to swelling of the scrotum, and discomfort.
While most report symptoms such as a dry cough, fever and loss of taste or smell due to the coronavirus, a number of men have recently reported pain in their testicles due to the virus. Not only do these men deal with discomfort in the sensitive area, but doctors in San Antonio believe it could damage the spermatocytes as well. The doctors from the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium believe this could have “a future impact on male fertility.”
Of course, the number of people dealing with these symptoms is low, and there still has not been any research done on the potential link. Still, just the thought of symptoms dealing with genitalia has enough men starting to rethink their coronavirus stance. This could be the symptom that scares everyone into wearing a mask.
