With a seemingly endless supply of streaming services available today, it's harder than ever to complain about not finding anything to watch. Still, making a choice while scrolling through the selection menu is a struggle for many, regardless of which platform they're using. Now, Netflix is trying out a new feature to help solve this issue, testing out a "Shuffle Play" mode worldwide.

Netflix's new feature will automatically select and start a random title based on the user's viewing history, alleviating the struggle of picking something to watch. They hope the new feature will encourage people to watch more content they may not have previously known about. It is currently being tested on connected-TV devices.

"The purpose of the test is to make it easier for members to find something to watch," said a Netflix spokesperson. The streaming giant hopes to eventually roll out "shuffle mode" permanently. Eventually, indecisive viewers will no longer be forced to make choices for themselves.
