Picking out a name for their child can be a difficult task for any parent. Usually they want to find a name that won’t get made fun of, and that suits the baby. Now, a new survey has revealed the names parents regret the most, as sometimes names that fit a child don’t quite suit them as an adult.
There are many reasons parents may regret the name they give their child at birth. The most common reason is the name no longer suits the person as they grow up, but sometimes its due to other reasons such as; it was picked by their partner or parents, the child gets teased for the name, or a celebrity steals that name for their own child. Based on the survey, the most regrettable name for males was Hunter, while it was Aurora for females.
Other names on the list include; Jaxon, Carter, Tobias, Oliver, Arabella, Lyla, Amber and Edith and more. There are many reasons given for why these names were regrettable, but luckily if the child doesn’t like it, they can always legally change it. As long as the child’s name isn’t Karen, they probably are just fine with their name.
