Pete Wentz was supposed to be gearing up for a seven month international tour with Green Day and Weezer, but thanks to the coronavirus, the Fall Out Boy bassist is stuck at home like many others. While the “Hella Mega Tour” is still up in the air, Wentz has been trying to keep busy and creative while quarantined. Luckily, that may mean a solo album could be in the works, as Wentz recently said it’s a possibility “If we’re locked down for another six months.”

Pete Wentz recently released his song as a featured artist in a collaboration with the UK group, Cheap Cuts. Their song, ‘Check Your Phone,’ dropped last week, and was a surprise to many Fall Out Boy Fans. While Wentz venturing out doesn’t mean the end of Fall Out Boy, it has led to the bassist thinking about solo work in the future.

“I have a lot of time on my hands and I kinda want to do it. Are we going to be in our houses for another six months? If we are, there’s going to be an album,” said Wentz. Hopefully, Wentz gets to work on the solo project, and can share some when the band eventually goes on tour.
