As quarantine orders begin to get lifted, many are looking forward to venturing out to their favorite restaurants and public gathering spaces. As businesses begin to open, some fear large rushes of people may lead to issues. That’s what happened when a KFC recently reopened, leading to cops being called to manage the long lines. Only problem was, the location had only opened for delivery.

A KFC in England was one of four locations to reopen for delivery only this week. However, many customers were so excited for fried chicken; they seemed to mistake the reopening for drive-thru as well. Police were called as a traffic jam was caused by a number of vehicles attempting to order at the KFC drive-thru.

"Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing," a spokesperson for the police said, as when police arrived at 5:30 P.M. the traffic jam had been cleared. While many customers were upset, they were reminded the location had opened for delivery. At least KFC now knows, when they do reopen fully, they should expect a large rush of hungry customers.
