Like many others, Post Malone is a huge Nirvana fan, often sharing the influence they had on his music. His well-documented love for Kurt Cobain and company has led to cover song performances, and now Post Malone will be holding a livestream event in honor of the group. Malone announced the event on his Instagram page this week.
Not much is known about the event, other than it will be livestreamed don Friday, and will honor the Nirvana. Fans are being asked to text the phone number, 817-270-6440, for more information about the event. In the initial post to Instagram, all Post Malone wrote was “Friday,” with a smiley face emoji included.
Post Malone has covered Nirvana songs in the past, playing ‘Nevermind’ and ‘Lithium’ during his 2016 Coachella performance. Hopefully more covers are to come during his livestream event. For fans interested in seeing what it is, the livestream will be broadcasted on YouTube at 5PM on Friday.
