It has been over a year since actress Lori Loughlin was named as part of the college admissions scandal, and now she is one step closer to finding out if she will have to do jail time or not. According to reports, federal prosecutors have requested two months in prison for Loughlin, and five months for her husband, fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli.

After fighting the charges since first being accused in March of 2019, the couple finally pled guilty to allegations they paid $500,000 to help get their daughters into the University of Southern California in May. The “agreed upon” terms include; five months in prison, a $250,000 fine, and 250 hours of community service for Giannulli. For Loughlin, prosecutors requested a two-month prison term, $150,000 fine and 100 hours of community service.

Known for playing ‘Aunt Becky’ on the series ‘Full House,’ Loughlin was not the only high profile name attached to this scandal, but has seen her case last over a year after fighting the charges at first. Now, it appears Loughlin and her husband will spend time in jail after all. Both are expected to be given their official sentences on Friday.
