Food debates can get pretty fierce, but it usually comes down to if the person likes or dislikes a particular taste. However, when it comes to pickles it seems there is no middle ground; either they’re loved or hated. Now, pickle lovers are being vindicated, as a new food hack for beer claims that placing a pickle in a cheap beer makes it taste significantly better.
While this beer hack isn’t new, it recently went viral as more people have tried it and confirmed it does indeed work. The hack calls for a pickle to be placed into a glass of beer, preferably a cheap beer instead of a fancy IPA. Apparently much like fries or pretzels, pickles go so well with beer due to the salt and vinegar complementing the flavor.
Many online have gone and tried the hack for themselves, with the majority claiming it did indeed make their cheap beer more palatable. Even some pickle haters admitted to enjoying the new beer hack. While not everyone loves pickles, this may explain why some take their love of pickles to extreme levels.
