Fans of the 'John Wick' film series will have to wait until 2022 until they get the latest installment of the franchise, but that is giving director Chad Stahelski plenty of time to make sure the best action is seen on the big screen. According to Stahelski, 'John Wick 4' may even use deleted scenes from 'John Wick 3.'
Initially intended to be released in 2021, the production of 'John Wick 4' has been delayed due to the coronavirus. While major elements of the project are currently still on hold, Director Chad Stahelski has been looking at previously unused footage in order to better the latest film's story. "We pulled them from the movie. And I'd like to think that 90 per cent of what I pulled, there's a place in John Wick 4 that I can definitely reinsert them," said Stahelski.
While the scenes were initially intended for 'John Wick 3: Parabellum,' it appears they could serve a similar purpose in the upcoming movie. As for 'John Wick 4,' its original release date of May 21, 2021 has been pushed back. However, now it appears the delay may help Stahelski make the film even better.
